ThinkByte LLC ("ThinkByte," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This notice applies to the public ThinkByte website and the AgentPath marketing page available through it (together, the "Website").
1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers information handled in connection with visits to the Website and direct business inquiries about ThinkByte services or AgentPath.
It does not govern a future AgentPath product account, a design-partner or pilot environment, or information processed while delivering services for a client. Those activities may be covered by separate agreements and notices before information is collected or processed.
2. Information we may handle
Information you choose to provide
If you contact ThinkByte by email, LinkedIn, GitHub, or another channel, we may receive your name, contact information, organization, professional role, and the contents of your message, including project or technical details you choose to share.
Technical information
Our hosting, reliability, and security providers may automatically process limited technical data needed to deliver and protect the Website. This can include an Internet Protocol address, browser or device information, requested pages, request date and time, referring information, and diagnostic or security logs.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:
- respond to questions and discuss potential projects, services, pilots, or partnerships;
- provide requested information and maintain business communications;
- operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Website;
- detect or prevent misuse, fraud, or security incidents; and
- meet legal, regulatory, accounting, or recordkeeping obligations.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:
- service providers that support website hosting, security, communications, or business operations;
- professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, or insurers;
- government authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security; or
- a successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
ThinkByte does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies and tracking
ThinkByte does not currently place advertising pixels or optional third-party audience analytics on the Website. Hosting and security providers may use essential technologies or logs to deliver pages, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and protect the Website.
Because ThinkByte does not track visitors across unrelated websites for advertising, the Website does not currently respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals. If our tracking practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law.
6. External websites
The Website links to services such as LinkedIn and GitHub. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. ThinkByte is not responsible for how an external service handles information after you follow a link or interact with it.
7. Data retention
We retain business inquiries and related communications only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage a business relationship, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Technical logs are retained according to operational and security needs and the practices of our providers. We may retain information longer when required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
8. Information security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No online service, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive credentials, secrets, regulated data, or confidential client information through an initial inquiry.
9. Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to receive information about how it is used and disclosed. You may also object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
Submit a request to info@thinkbyteit.com. Please include “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Because ThinkByte does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or sharing opt-out needed for the Website’s current practices.
10. Children’s privacy
The Website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Website. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can address it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Website, AgentPath, or our practices change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect. Material changes will be reflected on this page and communicated in another appropriate way when required by law.
